Trixie's phone kept buzzing until it annoyed her, and she decided to turn it off. She concentrated on her meal and on her drinks. It's like watching a poor, malnourished kid eat for the first time in months, though she's at least using her spoon and fork.
Lisa messaged me, and I told her I'd be home late. She replied she'd be going to the bar alone. That worried me, so I tried calling her, but she couldn't be reached. At first, I thought I could go back to the hotel, but my front view screamed, 'Don't leave' with Trixie's tears falling down on her food. Then, I called Jia, but she said she went back to our hometown. So, I called Leon.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"Home. Why? What's up?"
"Lisa's probably on her way to a bar. I don't know which one, but she's going to do something crazy."
