Days have gone by, and Jillian decided to visit Jia.

“It’s been a while since we talked. How’s everything?” Jill asks as both of them sit down in their dining area of the apartment. “Is everything fine with you going back here alone? Joshua really let you go back here?”

Jia fiddled with her fingers and couldn’t look at her straight, “Yes. Everything is fine. I miss my place, anyway.”

“Are you sure you don’t need much help?”

“I’m fine, Jill. You don’t need to worry about me.”

“But I do. I wanted to see you. I barely see you at the café but it’s not that I’m complaining about you not working. It’s good that you’re taking a break.”

“I guess it’s nice to have this long break, but it still bothers me since I still have to work,” she replied. “But it is nice to see you again.” They both smiled.
