Chapter 82

"Jill?" her aunt called, who was standing by the front door.

She broke their gaze and looked at her aunt. "Hey, Aunt Josie, it's Vince. He got too drunk, and I thought I might bring him here since your house is closer to his."

"Is he alright? It's past midnight." Josephine said, approaching the car.

"He got too much to drink at the party, I guess." she reasoned.

"But I thought he went home."

She looked at Vince helplessly and lied, "He went back because they called him over. Then, he must have sneaked away from them. Then, he called me because he can no longer take himself home."

"Alright, let's help him up."

Both of them guided him into the house and Jill said it was ok for him to sleep on her bed.

That was pretty much what happened last night. Jill didn't want to remember the rest of it as she still felt tired and sleepy.
