Chapter 23

“For now, come with me.”

I almost fell on my knees when his familiar smell wafted through my nose. My knees were weakening, but when I realized what he had said I quickly turned around and saw him walking away.

I wondered as I watched him not look back. God… he’s here. He’s really here! I even managed to slap myself just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. I wish it was all just a dream, my son is in danger!

“Celine, stop that.” Kyo stopped me when he saw I slapped myself. I turned to him.

“I’ll be back, you'll stay here first.” I said and quickly turned away from him even though he hadn’t answered yet.

I followed Loren. He turned into a hallway and I tailed. He was a bit far away but I didn’t speed up the walk. I let my eyes scan his back.
