It was quiet in the garden, save for the deep breaths and pants of Kayden who hovered over Zayla on the ground. Falling on top of her, he’s reminded of why he was a little physically being distant from Zayla. He respected Zayla and he thought that what happened after the meeting before was going beyond her limits. Even if his wolf was howling deep down and screaming at him to just mate Zayla, he could not. He wanted her to have the final say because after all, she was still on vacation.
