Zayla shivered in fear seeing Kayden tear the wolf apart who was blocking his way towards her. She was not able to fight back, still reeling from the sudden mass of muscle that threw itself against her, knocking the air out of her lungs. And then a growl that she thought she would not hear for some time came and saved her. Throwing the dead wolf away from his mate, Kayden immediately approached his mate and nudged her to her feet.
