Chapter 112. Caught in the Dark
NEW ORLEANS FARM HOUSE
The silent night was suddenly disrupted by a few fisted knocks on the front door of the farmhouse awakening the vampires as they quickly morphed into bats.
The fisted knocks were replaced by a loud banging on the door.
“Mr. Will!” a masculine voice called out desperately.
“Mr. Will!”
“Come on, it’s me your buddy, open up!”
It was Styles, an old man who often stops by Mr. Will’s farmhouse each time he’s having car trouble. He is a farmer and owns a farmhouse just as Mr. Will owns the New Orleans farmhouse. Styles is having car trouble and his car is parked some few meters away from the New Orleans farmhouse.
He was troubled by the silence of Mr. Will and his family. Usually, the door is answered once he uses the bell. Too bad that the bell is broken. Something looks strange. He can see the barn widely open which is not a way to go for a farmer to leave his barn open at night.
