Chapter 158. Hunters’ Fury
“This is insane,” said Jack in a faded voice.
He is having a difficult time believing what Mary has said. But something is still keeping him to look up to Mary. At least he saw the two men in the hotel room who came to kill him. That’s the only proof he has to believe what Mary has said.
“You don’t believe me, do you?” Mary folds her arms staring down at Jack.
“The hunters are not monsters and…”
“And we are monsters who can kill right?” Mary cuts in not letting Jack finish what he has to say. Jack seeing them as monsters and seeing the hunters as saints is pissing her off but she still has to keep her cool. Making a difference is what she wants. At least she wants her kind and the hunters to see reasons not to kill each other.
“That’s not what I mean to say.”
