“We need to find Mary’s soul before more of these dead wolves cross into our world,” Clinton said, tossing away the heart of the werewolf he killed. He took on the two of the furious creatures from the land of the dead as Rick drew aback, trying not to be bitten by the werewolves.
Rick pants heavily, trying to catch his breath. He puts his hand on Clinton’s shoulder and snorted out. “Phew—that was so close,” he said. He almost got his heart rip off from his chest by one of the werewolves but was saved by Clinton. “Thanks pal!”
“No need to thank me,” Clinton said. As he was about turning toward the fig-tree, a blast from nowhere hit him, knocking him off his feet. It was a wind blast that came with a powerful shock wave. Rick too was flung by this wind blast.
Nancy and Kate swirled at the same time, in search of whoever that threw a blast. There was no sign of anyone.
