Betty stood rooted to her spot as she stared at the man who was seated elegantly on the CEO’s seat like it was made for him.

Peter’s eyes were also glued on her, she was far more beautiful than when they first met, though he could see the stress written on her face, which only meant that the recent happening had taken a toll on her.

“Don’t just stand here, Betty, let’s go in,” Cyrus urged, taking a glance at her.

“Are you sure we are in the right place?” She asked, walking fully into the office sluggishly.

“Please have your seat, Miss Betty,” Peter offered with a smile all over his face.

“Hmm…thanks,” She stuttered, still looking reluctant.
