Chapter 28

Raymond was seated in his office going through some paperwork, all related to the company.

The door to his office burst open almost immediately, revealing his assistant.

“Don’t you know how to knock?” He asked angrily, glaring down at the man before him.

“This is not the time for this, sir,” He said, looking agitated.

“What do you mean?” He asked, studying the paranoid look on his face.

“I don’t know if this is a problem or not, but I find this a little disturbing,” He said, staring at his tablet.

“Tell me what is going on and stop keeping me in suspense,” Ray said.

“Pete’s entertainment agency is holding a press conference tomorrow morning,” He said.

“And how is that my business ?” Raymond questioned, he couldn’t believe he was scared for nothing.

“Betty is the main focus of the conference, they are holding the conference because of her,” He said.

“Betty? What does Betty have to do with Pete?” I asked, looking confused.
