Betty marched towards the door and pushed it open, but she was stopped by the guards before she could act rashly.

“Let go off me, you fools,” She yelled, trying to free herself from their tight grip.

“The CEO ordered us to lock you in your office until the conference is over,” One of them said.

“Why would he tell you to do that, let go of me this instant, do you know who I am?” She asked.

“We don’t care about your status, Miss, just cooperate with us,” The man said, leading the other guards.
