“You should think about this before acting rashly,” Emma said, holding Maria back.

She had been ranting about confronting Peter since Emma told them about Betty and Peter’s relationship.

“What exactly do you want me to think about here? Do you want their relationship to become stronger before I act?” She asked in annoyance.

“You are getting this all mixed up, Maria, just listen to me patiently,” Emma said calmly.

“What exactly do you want me to listen to?”

“I don’t want Peter ending up with some other women and Betty!” She groaned, frustrated.

“I understand you, I feel your pain, but even in the midst of all this, we should sit and reason things.”

“You wouldn’t want to do something you will end up regretting, would you?” Emma asked soothingly.

“But I can’t just sit back and watch her take my Peter away from me,” She whined.

“If she succeeds now, it will be the end of me, or better still, the end of us.”
