POV: Harmony Winters

I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision by accepting to go out with Rhys Anderson for dinner tonight. To be frank though, I hadn’t agreed to go out with him, and he had merely just kind of imposed the whole thing on me before I got a chance to think things through.

It was already fifteen minutes past seven, and I doubted that he was still going to show up. I felt like a total fool, seeing the effort I had put in to look really nice tonight. Anyway, if he didn’t show up and never rendered an apology, I still had nothing to lose. Perhaps, he had been joking and I’ll just play along like I thought everything was all a joke.

“Serves me right,” I muttered to myself as I brushed my hair for the umpteenth time in front of the mirror.
