POV: Rhys Anderson

With a sullen expression, I was silent all through the drive to Mateo Models. Nathan was driving the car, and he was quiet as well, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

“I don’t get it, Nathan. Everything was pretty good, and she just changed all of a sudden. I have never been as shocked as I was three days ago, and I haven’t even seen her since then,” I said, finally breaking the silence.

“You didn’t need to do anything for that to happen. Perhaps, she felt guilty and had a change of heart, or her boyfriend did something nice to her that made her jilt you for him,” Nathan said, with a shrug of his shoulders.

I rolled my eyes. “Whatever. What we had was good, but she just had to ruin everything. She doesn’t know what she has missed out on,” I said.

Nathan chuckled. “I know, right? Every woman wants you, but she just rejected you. That’s a first. Anyways, like you said, it’s her loss and not yours,” He said.
