Chapter 39

Queenza looked doubtful when she knocked on Kingsley's door again this morning. Yesterday after Kenzie left, Kingsley continued to lock himself in his room. He didn't even go out to go to the bathroom or get a drink.

This made Queenza nervous. She wondered if something bad had happened to Kingsley behind the bedroom door or if the man was so angry that she didn't want to meet Queenza even for a glance.

Knock... knock... knock...

Just like before, Queenza's knock on the door received no response. Feelings of annoyance began to creep into Queenza's heart because she felt that Kingsley was acting like a child again. Sulking for no reason.

"Kingsley, I’m too lazy to serve you. So stop acting like a child and go to the kitchen now! I've prepared breakfast."

Queenza's firm appeal did not produce results.

"Listen, at least give me a reason why you attacked Kenzie. Is he dangerous? If so, I won't stop you anymore."

But Queenza doubts that Kenzie is dangero
