The room was stuffy and deliberately left dark, making things stifling. It looks like this place is a fairly large warehouse with lots of shelves full of goods.

Marlene glanced around weakly. Her hands were tied behind her body. The previous fight with Kingsley drained her energy. Otherwise, breaking free and escaping from this place shouldn't be difficult. But now, even if she moved, Marlene felt like the bones in her body would fall apart.
