[The day Angelina left]
“Here’s your payment.” His diction was slurred and he wobbled on his feet. She had served her purpose. And he had achieved his goal. But it was not a cause for celebration.
“This is too much, El Patrón.” The woman he hired smiled delightedly, counting the bills in her hands. Forgetting to mask his disdain, he scowled.
“You deserve it.” He murmured while he refilled his glass for the umpteenth time. Fuck! He needed to be drunk enough to just pass out on the floor and not care about the world anymore.
“Are you sure you don’t want to fuck me? Or I can fuck you. We can have some fun.” His dark gaze went to the woman standing before him. Barely covered in her mini skirt and blouse, showing her wares, enticing him with her sultry look. Promising delights.
He grunted disgustingly and drained his glass in one gulp. “No. Not now. Not ever. Go.” He always hated it when she touched him to fool everyone. To fool his angel.
