I knew I wasn't in my bed when I woke up. Everything seemed off the second I opened my eyes. didn't even have anything to do with the dark… everything in the room.

Just something didn't feel like I was used to. And instead of panicking and looking for how to get the hell out of there. I was looking for how to cozy up to the big warm teddy bear next to me.

I think my not getting out of bed had more to do with the teddy keeping me down.
