Chapter 28

I looked at Talia’s chubby five-foot-six-inch frame and knew she needed exercise much more than I did.

“Hope you’d make out time for exercise and fitness exercises this coming holiday?” I asked Talia calmly.

“Exercise? No way. I need to spend time with my children and catch up on several books I’m yet to read.”

“Oh, that’s true. I bought a novel and a self-help book a while ago. I’ve started reading the self-help book, but still in the first chapter.”

“That’s awesome. That means no law literature throughout this holiday?”

“No way, Talia… my mum would fling it from my hands if she sees me with one this holiday.” We both laughed as A. J. Baby walked briskly towards us with a cellophane bag containing sweets, packed pastries, and small-sized flavoured drinks.

“Sorry I took so long, Talia… those girls are so unruly…”

“No problem, A. J. Baby, it’s normal… but Pierre kept me company all through.”
