Brenda's POV:

I could not believe what had just happened. I mean, I thought Diego liked me, liked me enough to tell me things, all that went on.

I even gave him a heads up by asking what was wrong but he did not want to involve me in it.

Did he think I was arrogant or stupid? Am I stupid? And to think that I fell for all of his sweet talk.

You should understand how I feel. Is your loved one keeping things from you because they think you are not emotionally stable? God, I feel so terrible right now. I just wish that I could end all of this right now, but I could not.

I quickly put a call through to my boss to tell him why I would not be at work today.
