The tips of his fingers sparked as he approached the faerie’s, but like a magnet, the force he used sent him forward, fitting his palm into Aguna’s as he felt the shock that belonged to him seep through every tiny particle of his body. Both bodies were lifted by a sharp and eager scream, as a strong current of wind without beginning or end reached them.
Saejin heard Heyon’s scream, but Lim didn’t cry out for help. His head was thrown back, and Aguna did the same while murmuring words that neither Seok nor any wizard present there knew.
The sound of Heyon’s scream ceased, and his eyes closed. Guiding Aguna’s free hand, they both now just floated and stayed still, as magic took hold of their souls and showed them what they wanted.
Their bodies seemed to be handed over to any god who wanted to help them, but a gray ray split the mansion’s ceiling and hit them squarely.
Everyone moved further away.
