Elanor sighed, smiling at the fairy. He saw his men carefully seek the sword, not touching the blade, because a small cut was enough to curse the soul.
They returned the sword to the box and handed over the princess.
" How did he get such a weapon? " Asked Aguna.
The fairy sighed, remembering what her husband was capable of.
"A delivery. One of our..." The lump in the woman's throat made her feel like she was choking. "One of our sons was given over to become a warrior of the flame. Akin sent our only son away for it."
"Son?" Melisandre frowned. "Did you have a child?"
"We didn't want to make a fuss about it because... we were afraid they wouldn't accept a faerie man."
