"Hey, Amelia! How are you?" His bubbly voice throws me off for a second. I don't know how to play it. I sit up, cradling the phone to my ear, the apartment is so quiet around me, I can probably hear a pin drop.

"Uh... Hey Dylan...uhm, I am fine?" I don't know why I end the reply as a question. I can literally see his brows raise on the other line.

"I was just calling to check in on you. You didn't show up to class and I was worried and thought to call." He says, his voice is solid and calm over the phone and I can't follow what he is saying. It makes sense but then, what is he really talking about? Has he not seen the video?

But that would be impossible, no matter how much of a social recluse he has made himself to be, I doubt a hot topic like that would have passed him.
