Book 4: Chapter 38
They didn’t bother to greet anyone and just walked around, enjoying each other’s company and drinking. But that didn’t mean a lot of people didn’t muster the courage to greet them which they responded to with smiles.
“Sasha?” Someone called as Sasha stood waiting for Michael to be done with his phone call. She turned to the man dressed in black suit, whose eyes widened in surprise seeing her, “my God, it really is you. I just came in and I was hearing the rumor that you were around, your classmates speak highly of you,” he chuckled.
“Sean, how nice to see you,” she replied, she had wanted to confront him together with Michael and now glancing beside him and still no sign of Michael, she heaved a deep sigh and looked up at the man in front of her.
“You are still as beautiful as always or even better now. You are glowing,” he complimented.
Sasha nodded with a soft smile, clasping onto her wine glass, “thank you.”
Sean’s eyes went to the ring on her finger
