Jack's POV
I've never been on a date in my life, I mean, I've gone out with girls, but none of those could be considered a date, just hanging out as friends. Alana was telling me all night about her flings and how Noah was talking to a girl while flirting with her. She admitted she wasn't upset, it didn't hurt her, she just felt relieved that her best friend wasn't truly in love with her, just with the idea they had of each other. She told me she overheard our conversation because Evans and she couldn't resist the temptation to eavesdrop behind the door. She teased me about my indifference and then said she liked it when I stayed silent and my hair fell over my forehead.
