Alana's POV
I punched the punching bag.
"I had to fixate on my ex-fiancé, couldn't just go for some handsome actor from another country."
"Or on me," Aiden says.
"Yeah! Even that would've been more reasonable."
"It doesn't make sense if you think about it, you're a badass and I'm sensitive. You'd destroy me in seconds, and my poor heart couldn't handle it," he says jokingly, and I hit the punching bag again, this time with more force.
"Need that kind of man for you, Alana," he continues.
"I don't need that, he doesn't need me either."
"And does boxing help you channel it?"
"It's the second time I've tried, and it seems to work."
"Alana, darling, you're hitting a punching bag and listening to Seafret's 'Atlantis,' clearly you're not okay."
