Taylor’s POV

As Mavi, Yumi, and I sat together in the break room during our lunch break, I couldn’t help but notice how giddy and excited Yumi seemed. She was practically glowing, and there was a noticeable twinkle in her eyes.

“Mavi, Taylor, I need to tell you something,” Yumi said, her voice slightly trembling with nerves.

I exchanged a knowing glance with Mavi, both of us curious to know what was on her mind. “Go ahead, Yumi. You can tell us anything,” I reassured her.

Yumi took a deep breath and finally blurted out, “I really like Doctor Clint.”

Mavi and I couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Yumi’s cheeks turned bright red, and she playfully hit both of us. “Stop laughing, you two! This is serious!”

“Oh, we’re not laughing at you, Yumi,” Mavi said, trying to contain his amusement. “It’s just that we’ve noticed how you act around him, and it’s pretty obvious.”

Yumi sighed, looking a mix of embarrassed and hopeful. “Really? You t
