Yumi’s POV

I took a deep breath as she stood outside Doctor Clint’s office. I had been contemplating this visit for days, unsure of whether I should go through with it or not. But today, I finally mustered the courage to face my feelings and see where it would lead me.

With my heart pounding in my chest, I knocked lightly on the door. “Come in,” I heard Doctor Clint’s voice from inside.

Pushing the door open, I stepped into the office and found Doctor Clint sitting at his desk, engrossed in a book. He looked up as I entered, a surprised expression on his face.

“Yumi, what brings you here?” he asked, setting the book aside.
