Meyer pouted her lips and surged closer to have her first supply of kisses when Brian pulled back, and called it a day. She only stood, gaping at Brian as he walked out on her.

Tony was back on his feet. His hospital bills were paid by Kate who used her tuition fee at school to offset the bills. She had ice on her shoulders, seeing his sparkling blooming self-bounce back on track. At the improbable dinner which Kate hosted in his honor she took him down memory lane of his ill-health; how he had laid motionless as the dried sand at desert; the nonconforming number of drip that he exhausted. As she smiled cheek to cheek across the Chinese food, Honey Chili Paneer on the table, she narrated to Tony how the course of his ailment made her frail overnight.
