Kate and Eva Fall Out

Eva had shades of fury when she heard Kate say, “Your mother was going out with Tony,” and then her long face disappeared into a shitty frown that irritated even Kate herself.

“Did I hear you well, uh” Eva asked, sat up, and brought the duvet across her nakedness, leaving Kate to figure out what she was going to do with her nakedness. “Can you repeat yourself?” she asked, losing her voice but clearing her throat to retain it.
