Grandma’s Welcome Back Party

Brian got a call from his parents about the conviction of Mr. Fanny over d*** peddling, and his being sentenced to twenty years imprisonment and Brian was much bitter; he was inflamed because the person involved was Kate’s father, a man he had come to respect and love so much. He, Brian, still felt something for Kate – for he had asked his father with eyes full of anguish if Kate was sent to jail when his father briefed him about Kate’s trial too. Although his heart still paused for Kate he would not be returning to California soon; he wished he could return and rewrite the love he had for Kate, but he was out-and-out to create the vacuum of absence to checkmate if what they had was true love or fantasy.
