Morgan Daniels and Maia Shelton were driving back to the apartment and Laiba Fawkham was the driver. Originally, Morgan was expecting Jonah to come to pick them up, but Laiba showed up instead.

The ride was a silent one at first but then Laiba started blabbing about everything Morgan missed whilst on vacation.

Maia and Janata sat in the back. She has been silent throughout the flight back. Morgan could understand her hurt. Going on a vacation with someone, but returning alone. It's different if that person either had to stay back or leave early, that because of work. Well, maybe not okay but comprehensible.

But that wasn't the case here. They went for a date, and while Janata went to the bathroom, Jared had another chick replace her. And then she'd come back, asking for explanations was instead humiliated. And he had the fucking nerves to ask her to pay the bills. All on Christmas Eve.
