Morgan Daniels had a blinding smile plastered on her face. Her gaze was on Maia as Maia's was on her. Suddenly, their surroundings slowly start to disappear. Right now, the way Morgan stared at Maia felt like she was the only one existing and nothing else mattered.

Like in the past.

A small hand tugging at Maia's arm had her forcefully pulling her gaze away from Morgan against her will. Lea stood by her, staring at her with her big sad eyes.

“Hi mummy’s friend, I’m sorry I bumped into you” she cooed.

“Hi Lea, it’s alright little one,” Maia offered her a smile brushing away a strand of hair behind her ears.

Standing up close only then did Maia see the resemblance between Jonah and Laiba. She had the same facial features as Jonah. Same kind eyes, a mesmerizing smile and a small Grecian nose. However, she had Laiba’s hair. Very thick and auburn hairs falling over her shoulders.

There was no doubt, that she was their kid.
