"You didn't even send Tallulah away for all the pain she put me through, it's a relief she left on her own". Annika said folding her arms and looking away.
Mateo slammed his fist on the stair case rail making Annika gasp and turn to look at him.
"No more word about Tallulah from your lips".
"Mateo….". She called unfolding her arms.
"That's enough Annika, she left on her own and she doesn't need to matter anymore. No one would speak of her again, not even you".
"So does this mean……"
"Yes, she is gone for good".
Mateo said and marched up the stairs.
Annika was over joyed and almost bursted into a glittery shower of fireworks.
"Oh Tallulah, I'll miss her". Annika said feigning care as she put on a sad look on her face. The pretence was for Mateo who just reached the top of the stairs so he could keep on believing she was good….
Especially to Tallulah…..
