Chapter 26. Shopping and Spa

Bree’s POV

I found myself on the floor next to the bed with a blanket on top of me when I woke this morning. Don’t ask me how I got there. I wasn’t sure myself.

Letting out a grunt, I reached for my alarm clock and turned it off. I used my bed as a support to stand up. I lay my upper body on the bed and my lower body on the floor.

I sighed as I got up from this uncomfortable position. After my shower, I threw on jeans and a white top that had the inscription ‘Rich forever at the front. I wasn’t in the mood to tie my hair, so I decided to braid it. The braiding ended about midway down my back. I got downstairs with my school bag, then headed out to the front door.

My mom and Asher had already left; they had a parent day at Asher’s school today, which meant I was in charge of locking the door. I made my way to school.

I walked into the homeroom and sat in the back seat next to Maddie. Sofie wasn’t coming today as well, but she was already better. S
