Chapter 30. Reconciliation

Bree’s POV

“Hayden.” I gasped, surprised to see him standing there. “What are you doing here?”

I watched him stick his tongue out to wet his lips. “Can we talk?”

Oh, so now he wants to talk.

“Yeah, sure.” I stepped aside for him to come in and close the door. I turned to look at him, but he was staring at something else. I looked into his gaze, and that’s when I realized my pajamas were transparent, meaning he could see almost everything. His eyes were hooded, and he drank in my body.

I cleared my throat, trying to get rid of the tension, and walked towards the bed where my pajamas and robe were and wore them around my body before securely tying the knot.

“So what exactly is going on with you? You totally cut me off with no explanation.” I questioned, my hands crossed together against my chest.
