Chapter 43. Taking the Day Off

Bree’s POV

I let out a yawn, and my head rested on a soft pillow as I opened my eyes, just to close them immediately when the bright light almost blinded me. I blinked a few times until I got used to the light.

Hayden’s cologne filled my nostrils as I took a deep breath. I focused my eyes on the tanned arms wrapped around my waist, and I felt butterflies in my stomach. I hear a shuffle behind me, and a warm breath teases my back. My eyes shut closed, pretending to still be asleep.
