Seeing Emiliana was the soothing balm my soul needed. I was in too much pain to even attempt to move, but that didn't stop me from feeling relieved when I saw her silhouette kneeling in front of me. Thank God.

These days had been a complete hell; I had even lost track of time. I only knew that a new day was dawning because they brought me a meal. I guessed that my kidnapper had no accomplices.

Only he had come to visit me, and I only saw him when he brought me meals during breakfast and dinner. The remaining hours I spent alone, curled up in a corner, doing my best not to go crazy.
