Chapter 10. I Am the Luna

Abigail’s POV

After the pack members capture Maria, they lead her to our dungeon cells. She kicks and scream curse words all the way, but to no avail. Her father tries to negotiate for her to be put in her own room under house arrest, but Matthew is not backing down. She challenged his Luna, lost and is going to suffer the consequences of her actions. Possibly for the first time in her life.

The young Alpha, Leo, and his mate Luna Jamie, follow us back to the pack house. I try to talk to the former Luna, but she keeps throwing glances at her seething mate, and only gives me shrugs, nods or head shakes. I am also interrupted several times by the children giving me flowers, which I don’t mind at all.

She doesn’t say a word and I feel she is not treated well either. I wonder what kind of pack the former Alpha has given to his son, and how said son is running things. It’s something I will have to speak to Matt about later.
