Chapter 20. Trouble Everywhere

Chase’s POV

I can’t believe she went away with that fake mate, and then she comes back with not only him and his bromance, but also some unknown girl who claims to be a princess. She won’t tell me where she’s supposed to be royal, or what kind of supernatural she is. She just follows my mate around like a lost puppy all day, trying to avoid the guardian and being polite to me and Aquaboy. Stupid water dragon. And he blamed his banishment on me, but I don’t even know him. I knew OF him, but up until Amber was basically being dry humped by him, I didn’t know HIM! Ugh!

What’s even worse is that Calor refuses to speak to me, and has gone deep in hiding in my mind. He’s angry at me for pissing off our mate, twice, apparently, at the stunt my father tried to pull at the mess and at the ‘new’ mate coming in from the side. He told me he needed some time to think, and has had a block up ever since.
