Kiara’s POV

“It’s linked to my personal account, which is now ours. There is no limit and I don’t care how much you spent! You are my Luna and my mate, and I will not have you miss things. Buy whatever you want, baby.” I look at the credit card again.

“But I have my own money.”

“Save them for something else. This is yours, and I expect you to use it!” I smile, as Ryan slides the notepad back. Maze takes it, and we read it together. I narrow my eyes.

“Ryan, why did you give us an incomplete list?” I ask, wondering if he is trying to be humble?

“Incomplete, Kiara?” I gesture to the list.

“Socks, underwear, shirts, pants, backpack, laptop (very old), hairbrush, shampoo.” I read off the list. “That can’t be all?!” He shrugs.

“I didn’t have much, Luna. All my valuable things are with James—my watch from my grandpa and my necklace from James.” I stare at him.

“But…The laptop. What was it?”

“Uhm, something my dad got second hand.
