Chapter 34. Realisation

Alpha Jackson Taylor POV

I watched my son’s interaction with Aria with great interest. I never told him to look after her like that. My primary concern was Aria’s safety while practising with the other warriors.

Daniel misinterpreted my instructions and went overboard with his protection, or that was what he wanted to make me believe. There was something strange about his behaviour towards that poor girl.

Aria didn’t seem to be afraid of my son. She confronted him, asking me to release him from his guardian duties. It surprised me that Daniel was so annoyed by my consent to Aria’s request. Wasn’t he the one who protested when I first asked him to look after her? When he left the room, I couldn’t hold back my laughter. He seemed pissed off.
