Chapter 40. Saved and Destroyed

We have been talking and dancing with some of the guests while watching each guest go up and put their charities in the box.

It’s simple. We specified an amount, and they either say the full amount, fifty percent, any percent, or no support. Beta William and others will sort through them after they have all placed them.

After they have placed their donation cards in the box, they can’t be changed or cancelled. So even if I got sent home, anyone who said they would back it still will.

That’s something to feel good about.

Kellan walks past me, his head lowering to my ear.

“From how the counting is going so far, you’re in the lead again.” He continues to walk past.

Sage’s eyes bulge. “You didn’t put your personal story in!” She stares at me.
