Chapter 42. Teased

Darius looks at me, and I wonder just how much shouting he will do when Kellan tells him everything.

“As it is late, we will discuss this tomorrow morning. Consider everything. I want the truth from both of you.” Darius looks between Kellan and me. “Even if that’s what you have slept together,” he states, but we haven’t.

“We haven’t.” Kellan shakes his head.

“I’m just making you aware I want every bit of information. If anything like tonight happens again, then I’m not blind.” He rubs his forehead.

“Might I suggest that Elara not stay in her own room tonight? We have not yet found Alpha Ethan.” William looks at Darius. Does he think he’s still here somewhere? Why would he risk getting caught hiding in the palace?

“She enjoys Kellan’s bed, apparently,” Darius says, and Kellan laughs.
