Chapter 3
“So who is going to bite the bullet and get married already? I want homemade meals,” Xavier groaned. He bit into the meat. It was dry and almost painful to swallow. The potatoes rested sadly on the side of his plate, too burnt to be edible. Xander reached gladly to steal them. His hunt was in turn stolen by a laughing Namjoon.
“I say we play paper rock scissors,” Liam answered. He put the newspaper he was reading on the table. He had originally brought it to wipe the excess of mud on his boots, but his brother’s words gave him another idea. Alcohol was not helpful in making wise decisions, nor did the hunger and heat. “I saw some Mating ads in this somewhere,” Liam said, skimming through the paper as he chewed. “Here!” he said triumphantly.
“Those ads are scams,” Julius shook his head. He ate with gusto despite the terrible bland and burnt taste. “I heard that a man married one ugly woman through those ads,” he nodded his head. The twins laughed at the statement.
