Lola's POV

Argh! Why the fuck is everything so loud?

"Adrian, what the fuck are you doing? Try to tone it down a bit; I'm trying to sleep", I mumbled from sleep, but all I got was a groan, and the sounds became louder than they originally were.

"Adriannnnnnn," I whined and tried to grab him from his side of the bed, but I touched the grass instead. Grass? My eyes shot open, and I tried to sit up quickly, but I got pushed down by a heavy tree on my midriff.

"Aw," I groaned and tried to remove the tree from my body, only to be met with skin. Adrian's hand was draped over my stomach while he slept with his body facing away from me.

I laid down back for a while and tried to remember the events that happened the day before but I could barely focus. I could hear the ants crawling on the forest floor; the sound of their tiny appendages scraping against the surface of the earth was so loud that I could barely hear my own thoughts.
