My heart was beating erratically as the house came into view. I tried to stall Adrian a bit before we went inside but he managed to make me move towards the house.

“I sincerely still feel like we should have cleared up that lakeside. I feel bad that you would have to go back to clear it by yourself “, I said after a while, just to stall and not go into the house.
