Chapter 45
I was utterly exhausted. When I entered Ryder's room, all I wanted to do was collapse into bed and rest. The previous night had left me sleep-deprived, and the early wake-up call for makeup had only compounded my fatigue. Though I heard the door open, my eyelids felt heavy, and I chose not to open them fully.
"Baby?" Ryder's voice broke through the haze of exhaustion.
I could only manage a soft moan in response to his call.
"Let's sleep first," I pleaded, my weariness evident in my voice.
"You must be so tired," Ryder observed, his tone filled with understanding.
"Yes, I am," I confirmed.
"I can help you," Ryder offered, his voice gentle with care. "Do you need a massage?"
