Chapter 10
“Traditions, perhaps,” he said.
“Whatever, Asher. Anyway, please bring some sweets when you visit me later,” I ordered.
“You should limit yourself from eating a lot of sweets, Your Highness. It’s not good for your health,” he reminded me. “One more thing, stop eating chicken!”
When he mentioned my allergies to chicken, I rolled my eyes at him. Since we became intimate, Asher started to act so sweet and clingy toward me.
“I’ll go ahead, and don’t forget about the things you have to bring into my room later. I must start answering the missives. I got a lot lately,” I told him and he just nodded.
I was supposed to respond to the emails and invitations I received but as soon as I got into my room, I couldn’t bring myself to write a single letter. Instead, I paced back and forth while waiting for Asher to come. When there was a knock on the door, I sprinted toward the wooden door panel and opened it.
